Peer groups
About four same-age children work on the same project. Each one shares ideas, takes on responsibilities and gives feedback, so nobody sits on the sidelines.
How It Works
What a project looks like, who your child works with, and how you see the growth.
Example project · November
A thinking project. Children look at a familiar holiday from different perspectives.
They run a survey and do research to form their own views, turn those views into work they can present, and share it with peers and families at the Showcase.
Small groups. Active participation.
About four same-age children work on the same project. Each one shares ideas, takes on responsibilities and gives feedback, so nobody sits on the sidelines.
Mentors spark children’s thinking, guide group discussion and encourage children to work together. They also observe and record each child’s HEART™ competencies in action.
Each week your child completes a short Check-in with a photo of their progress. An optional Challenge at home lets them go further, and you can add your own observations before it is submitted.
Interdisciplinary projects
Each project connects several domains, so children use what they learn at school in new and real situations.
Growth you can see
Every week
Check-in progress and mentor comments in your child’s GrowMate® profile.
Every month
Watch your child present finished work and answer questions in person.
Over time
Specific examples of what your child did, where they are strong and what to practise next.
At school
In class discussions, group work, presentations and inquiry assignments.

Children earn Growth Drops through weekly Check-ins and the Showcase Reflect. As drops add up, they unlock Growth badges and their Growth Tree grows.

Optional Challenges earn Challenge Stars. As stars add up, they unlock Explorer badges, for children who choose to go further.
